Assists the Parts Manager with supervising a team of parts counter people that provide for both Service departments and a retail counter. Cover all daily duties along with invoice/paperwork flow to accounting in the Parts Manager's absence.Assist as needed with planning & monitoring parts sales targets as provided by the Dealership's General Manager. Help manage and control parts inventory, obsolescence, as well as conducting perpetual & annual inventories.Help with creating and implementing parts pricing structures for internal, wholesale, & customer pay transactions.Assist with creating marketing activities for wholesale and retail customers.Partner successfully, build strong relationships with, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with the service and collision departments.Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction for wholesale, retail and internal customers.Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.Understands, keeps updated on and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect the parts department.Enforces and follows all safety requirements, including but not limited to forklift training/certification and operation, processing of MSDS sheets on all products carried, OSHA Right-to-Know, and Hazmat certification.

- Oversee the daily operations of a wholesale parts call center, and internal body shop parts department.- Lead a team of wholesale/body shop parts specifiers, and a fleet of delivery drivers within an automotive multi-line parts department.- Coordinate and dispatch daily deliveries to our wholesale customers near and far.- Provide customers with an exceptional level of customer service, and follow through with fulfilling their requests, along with prompt delivery of their parts orders. - I'm always looking for ways to grow the wholesale parts business, mainly by maintaining current & creating new business relationships with service repair & collision facilities. I'm also heavily involved with the creative development of marketing projects to help promote the car manufacturer brands at this store's location, as well as representing the entire company.- Utilize catalog/ordering systems offered by car manufacturers for wholesale customers to use. These systems give our customers the opportunity to view parts catalog illustrations, view our inventory levels, and place orders online directly.- Follow inventory management systems to maximize the value, and the turnover of a parts inventory for multiple automotive parts manufacturers, both foreign and domestic.- Coordinate and oversee, the specific steps of a physical inventory for multiple automotive parts manufacturers both foreign and domestic on an annual basis.

My main objective everyday is to accurately look up parts for both foreign and domestic vehicles and fulfill the requests of technicians in multiple service departments, along with retail and wholesale customers. I also assist with managerial duties within a multi-line parts department on a daily basis. I've been able to make improvements within the parts department by being involved in fixed operations groups. By having years of experience within the same parts department, I've helped create and implement new policies and procedures to enhance customer service, and efficiency throughout the dealership. Within the parts department I've created pricing structures to help maximize gross profit and increase parts sales. Having the opportunity to work and communicate with several departments within the company on a daily basis, has given me the unique "behind the scenes" perspective as to how a successful automotive dealership operates.
