I work mainly in java, writing new features for our enterprise SaaS product. More specifically, I am a mid-senior member of one of our Agile software development feature teams. I work primarily on the backend of our product. When working on the server, this means I work on a range of areas from the REST API all the way down to our database layer (psql + H2). When working on the client, this means I am working on the java service, and interfacing with the web based UI, the service, and the cloud server.My responsibilities include: inclusion in story authoring, Writing up implementation designs from product requirements, estimating work, implementing said designs, writing unit/integration and system tests for new content, consulting on test plans from QA, and fixing bugs.

I work on the REST API and new feature work.I also spent a good deal of time working on a test automation team, which focused on automating testing of the API using Cucumber (Ruby based test framework).

Taught boat safety and supervised children, ages 5 – 12, as they went fishing. Led boating expeditions with groups of 10-15 children and supervised counselors on the waterfront.
