I'll help you deliver your vision intuitively, quickly and cost-effectively.In my career I've had the pleasure of working with some remarkable individuals and have been fortunate to be part of uncommon teams that attained historic achievements. Collaboration is the most rewarding part of what I do. Doing so effectively, and in a timely manner isn't nearly as much of a challenge if you find yourself on the right team, and with exceptional leadership.I'm primarily a video editor and writer/content producer but, often, these positions have included additional responsibilities, particularly in a startup-type operation. This has only served to enhance my ability to bring value and insight to a team of collaborators.I aim to continue working with top talent in their respective fields, for whom I feel a responsibility to in communicating their vision in the most concrete way possible. I believe my strongest attribute, beyond my technical skills and talents, is my ability to intuitively connect with this vision. And doing it in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Digital Content Manager/Video Editor/Research AnalystFounder Legacy Partners Feb 2020 - PresentAnaheim, California, United StatesI produce the promotional content that investors and potential partners see. If a business owner opens a cold email, it was drafted by one of my interns with a general approach and template provided by myself. If an investor sees a promotional video on the Principal, Kevin Hong, I put it together. In short, I provide the window dressing, the first impression that grabs the attention of potential partners and clients.Getting a business owner to sell the company they founded isn't easy. It requires a remarkable degree of credibility even just to get their attention. Creating that impression, getting the message across and finalizing a meeting between two people whom have never met is about the most challenging thing I've ever been tasked with, but it's rewarding to see a deal begin to take shape out of what was, essentially, thin air. And for it to occur with such frequency make it historically significant in the searchfund model. We've created opportunities with over 100 business owners in little less than 6 months, a first in this branch of private equity. In addition to being tasked with assisting in the development of outreach content to investors, my responsibilities include deep diving into potential investments. With a team of interns, many of whom I interviewed and recruited, I am currently building a substantial list of potential deals that will be used to filter down to the most attractive opportunities for FLP. This strategy is a unique approach to a relatively new process, using the latest technology and information available to build a matrix that will both streamline and fine-tune the process of finding the right fit for the investment criteria.I previously worked with FLPs Principal, Kevin Hong, on the research, development and execution of a best-selling novel, The Outlier Approach: How to Triumph in Your Career as a Nonconformist. Using the strategies and adhering to the principles of this approach is a large part of my contribution to FLP. -

Customer Service RepresentativeUnited Airlines Mar 2016 - PresentGreater Chicago AreaCustomer-facing, frontline customer service agent; primarily boarding flights, handling baggage claims and accepting cargo.Received an award in 2018 as a top ten performing customer service representative, primarily based upon the testimonies of United Premier passengers at the top tier of the loyalty program. Perhaps it was my grace under fire that enabled me to provide exceptional customer service in less-than-ideal situations. The real trick in this game is to show the passengers that you value their time as much as they do. And the perception and value of time varies from place to place. Take for instance New York.Tailoring your message to your audience is primarily what I do in every aspect of my professional life. Understanding that audience is the key to mastering the art of empathy, as it relates to ones professional outcomes. -
Digital Marketing ConsultantSinemia Feb 2019 - Apr 2019Los Angeles, CaliforniaCompetitor to the ill-fated MoviePass, Sinemia was a SaaS tech company that specialized in movie ticking and became a platform for subscription services within that space. Originating in Istanbul, Turkey, Sinemia made an aggressive attempt at penetrating the US market with a heavy amount of promotion, fully funded by its founder and his investment team. This campaign included heavy emphasis on underscoring the benefits of switching from MoviePass to Sinemia. It was imperative that the message be tailored to US audiences, whose habits were in an accelerated shift due to the prevalence and availability of VOD streaming services. Sinemia recruited, amongst myself, a handful of US movie industry experts perspectives unique to that particular market. I, principally, wrote and/or translated much of the content that was ultimately seen by the users and prospective users. We ultimately signed up nearly a million US users before, ultimately, suffering the same fate as MoviePass.

Digital Strategist/Story ConsultantThe Outlier Approach Aug 2017 - Dec 2018Greater Los Angeles AreaMuch like my previous experience on the feature film 60 Yard Line, the challenge of the Amazon best-seller "The Outlier Approach" was getting the word out, which we were able to do with a measured approach and very tactful methods.A lot of this was done for free on social media platforms such as Quora, but some of the more measured methods included SEO and paid promotion, which cost a fraction of what it might've cost to outsource the services. Much of this involved writing but we also produced some promotional videos that boosted visibility and, ultimately, sales. We literally used the "outlier" approach that made up the subject matter for the book. Before any of the promotional work began, the author, Kevin Hong asked me to help him write the book. Having written a good amount of content for the school publications all the way through my primary education and segued that into providing intuitive content for websites, I was up for the challenge. What followed was what essentially amounts to a crash course education in business. The principles I learned in collaborating with Kevin Hong are principles that I find myself bringing into everything I do, be it professional or personal. I developed an understanding of business, relationships and personal responsibility that will certainly define the remainder of my career. All because I was able to use my talents to assist in someone achieving a vision. This is what I pride myself on. And will continue to going forward.

Associate Producer60 Yard Line Feature Film Apr 2017 - Nov 2017Los Angeles, CaliforniaThe 60 Yard Line is an independently produced feature film that found its way to 62 theater screens nationwide through my rigorous efforts of promoting the piece to film buyers across the country. This involved attending trade shows, cold calling/emailing and tapping associates for connections within the theater space.A successful run would only be achieved through intense promotion and PR work. I was tasked with getting the word out on 60 Yard Line. Most feature films cost several million dollars to promote, many times exceeding the actual budget of the film. We simply didn't have these resources.I created partnerships with many local establishments in order to attain free promotion that didn't cost us an actual dime other than to provide some call to action promotional materials such as shirts, posters, drink coasters, etc. This supplemented an independently financed promotional campaign that included a ton of social media, TV appearances by cast and crew and even a TV trailer that played during a regular season NFL game.Cost-effective and efficient: I've worked under these conditions my entire career and embrace the challenge. But I'd be more than happy to work with a bigger budget!
