•Performs inspections, execute preventive maintenance tasks and identify continuous improvement opportunities; *Coordinator all maintenance activities in the Hydro-processing/light end recovery units •Ensures regulatory compliance for mechanical rotating equipment is maintained; •Supports maintenance planning and scheduling activities; •Supports the Maintenance & Reliability team by providing input into Mechanical Rotating Equipment Asset Care Plan strategy development, including: •Rotating equipment criticality definitions; •Rotating equipment Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA); •Spare parts analysis; •Defining and planning routine and turnaround maintenance activities; •Developing and validation of procedures; •Provides plant support during the pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup phases of the refinery; •Prepares mechanical rotating equipment (e.g. pumps, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam and gas turbines, fans) for inspection, cleaning, repair and re-install; •Ensures that all mechanical equipment maintenance, trouble shooting and repair activities are carried out in a planned, efficient, and safe manner following NWR practices and policies; •Leads and assures that proper safety practices are followed, uses personal protective gear, barricades, warning signs and devices to protect others; •Participates in and provides on the job training and competency assessments;
