Manage shared service logistics department on all supply chain activities relating to business growth investment projects. • Created and implemented an elaborate simulation model focusing on safety, logistics optimization and operational needs, model has since been adopted globally by our EHS team with deployment in Germany, UK, and Brazil. Initial project on the sim model focused on internal and external pallet movements at a North American plant, results achieved in an optimized fleet construction, adjusted yard management layout, and improved traffic flow at distribution warehouse. • Led and presented an extensive distribution assessment to executive team. Results of the assessment identified we did not need additional square footage, these findings revealed a cost avoidance of $16M over a 10-year lease. • Designed and generated an optimized traffic flow and layout for new brownfield plant in North America. Results led to a fully utilized traffic pattern, yard design and drop trailer area. Traffic pattern will produce efficiency to the operation, safety for transportation providers/plant employees, and visitors alike. -

The results delivered were recognized as ‘World Class’ by top consulting firm in North America. • Established and led a cross functional team that included Production Planning, Commercial, and Operations to better align our supply chain network with our customers to drive resiliency and sustainability. Conducted quarterly business reviews with our vendors and customers to drive logistics ideation and strategy, resulted in a 10% reduction in our spot quote activity and provided our commercial team with a value-add proposition when approaching customer contracts.• Designed and launched an online logistics inquiry form to drive efficiencies in sourcing vendors and simplified the carrier vetting process . The results saved 20-man hours a week for our North American business and has since been adopted by our European business.• Championed the sustainability effort for logistics by partnering with the EPA and utilizing Smartway carriers, which has led to capturing Source 3 CO2 emissions, incrementally reducing our carbon footprint, and moving us toward our 2025 SDGs. -

Negotiated with carriers on price and service, developing optimal carrier capacity for each lane working in alignment with customer service, production planning and plants/warehouses to maximize efficiencies and cost effectiveness.• Led the transition of the Seattle plant operations from a 3PL to coming back in house, including rebuilding all route guides, resulting in a $7MM savings and the plant meeting their transportation budget - the only plant in North America to earn this achievement. • Developed and delivered a transportation strategy for one of our highest volume lanes that had become subject to a lack of capacity and increasing cost. This strategy resulted in $750K in savings, in 2018 and is still providing a prominent level of service and year over year cost stability. -
