The Brewers of Pennsylvania (BOP) is a 501c6 trade association that brings together leaders of Pennsylvania based breweries, businesses that support brewing and enthusiast members in order to promote and protect the brewing industry in the state.We strive to advocate for and promote awareness of BOP members; to increase the visibility of local beers through marketing, events, and consumer education; and to foster a healthy, ethical, and growth-focused beer industry.

•Maintain, service, sell to, and grow a base of 120+ On- and Off-Premises accounts including, but not limited to, writing orders, placing new products, producing and posting point of sale materials, and retaining quality integrity based on seasonality and code dates for each of the 25+ craft, import, and cider brands within my portfolio•Schedule, promote, and execute educational, profitable, and prosperous events that advance both the account and the brand of the brewery within my territory including but not limited to on-site samplings, beer pairing events, tap attacks/takeovers, etc.•Being the purveyor of the majority of artisinal breweries within the region, we are a uniquely integral contributor to all local beer fest. Being such, it is my responsibility to be involved in the selection of products, organization of beer dispensing equipment, presentation of promotion materials, as well as the supervision of all volunteers throughout the event to ensure a responsible and education experience•Design, maintain, and supply menu materials for On-Premises accounts to properly present available products to the customer including, but not limited to, tabletop menus, server cheatsheets, and social media materials•Since the creation of my position and department, I have been able to achieve:-1,040+ additional unique product placements within my territory-An 18.4% increase in market share between all draft and package units throughout On- and Off-Premises-A unique production brewing point-of-view to both customers and colleagues alike by fielding questions about beer styles and brewing on a regular basis

Responsibilities I hold as Brewing Supervisor include manpower scheduling, liquid movement/tank matrix planning, recipe staging/elevation, overseeing of operations such as wort development at the kettle/brewing, tank cleaning/audits, beer filtration, QA checks, data collection/analysis as well as coordination with bottling facility, warehouse, and sales/customer service team members.

As Warehouse Supervisor I was responsible for assigning employees to stage outgoing loads, properly store incoming loads, fulfilling packaging supply loads, oversee repacking projects, compiling and entering data into a theoretical inventory program, as well as hard counting pertinent items on a nightly basis. This also included checking the accuracy of outgoing loads, organizing and optimizing the use of all floor space, and remaining in contact with the bottling facility, brewing facility, and executive offices to aid in any needs that we were able; i.e. trailer movements, appointment changes, packaging supply loads, etc.

Following a successful internship with its sister paper The Carbondale News, I gained employment at the larger subscription publication of the family of newspapers, The Moscow Villager. I was responsible for finding news in the territory of the North Pocono area by attending all borough, township, and school board meetings. This also included covering high school sport events and seeking out human interest stories.
