Maintain day to day operations of all Accounts Payable activities for 55 satellite divisions serving 225 radio stations nationally with expenditures of $400 million encompassing 90,000 invoices annually.Complete management and staff development of 100+ employees responsible for daily A/P processing of accounts payable using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. Lead team member when the company implemented a new accounting system. I conducted multi-phased online training sessions to instruct employees on the use of the new system. Designed and implemented a universal vendor application to streamline vendor record entry that has resulted in a 100% compliant rate with the IRS. Designed and implemented accounts payable management system to monitor all department duties and activities. Both of these systems utilize document imaging technology.Responsible for the coordination, production and transmission of all 1099 annual reporting ensuring all IRS requirements are adhered to. I conducted negotiations with tax reporting software vendors to acquire the best functioning software which resulted in a 50% reduction in processing costs. The overall results of annual filings, no IRS B-notice penalties have been assessed.Maintain close partnerships with other departments, divisions, senior management and suppliers. I was successful bridging the barrier between operations and the IT department to generate greater overall department efficiencies.
