Culture Matters and Safety cannot be a priority, Safety must be a Core Value. Our approach to this idea must be genuine and authentic and the message consistent. My background is very diverse from having served in the US Army and working for small businesses and large corporations. My mentors have come from all walks of life including truck drivers, farmers, bankers, teachers, soldiers, business owners, to name a few. Throughout my career the common thread that indicates a highly functioning, performance driven team has been a known purpose (mission), strong leadership, and continued focus on culture.
