Product Manager and developer for DataForge, a sensor data aggregation platform used in mining, oil, and structural monitoring. Brad cut costs by contracting packages of work through Elance.com.

Sole developer, from user design interview / requirements to delivery, of the Chronos Mission Management platform (Java, OSGI) currently used on a major satellite program. Cooperatively developed a reusable Product Line for Mission Management using OSGI components. Northrop Grumman is actively bidding on new programs using the Product Line, which has effectively allowed them to reduce cost estimates. Modified and deployed the Mission Management Product Line to successfully command a Cubesat (small satellite). The process took 6 weeks, came in under budget, and proved that software re-use / Product Lines are an effective means of cutting costs. Lead architect and designer of the Pervasive Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance platform, which successfully coordinated various classified government sensors. Planned the schedule, technologies used, and final demonstration for 2011. Northrop Grumman subsequently won a follow on contract for 2012. Worked on the storage, retrieval, and multi-casting of video meta-data for the HART (Heterogenous Airborne Reconnaissance Tasking) platform. Both the Army and DARPA funded the effort to integrate many different Unmanned Aerial Vehicles into a common platform for tasking and persistently surveilling an area.Architected a web centric, run-time integration platform for the Horizonal Integration Internal Research project. The effort took various task schedulers operating individually and compared them to the same schedulers operating from a central tasking repository. The coordinated schedulers resulted in a 27% increase in tasks completed. The proof of concept has since been used to show efficacy for future integrated sensor work. Developed, in 2001, a web portal framework using Java server pages, which resulted in a successful multi year project called the MASINT (Measures and Signals Intelligence) portal. Championed the continued effort to utilize emerging standards such as portlets and J2EE.
