This position is the continuation of a work experience that started at Propex Operating Company, LLC. Oversee daily operations of IT, accounting & finance, & HR departments. Monitor/analyze operating results against budget by interacting with multiple functions including commercial team, supply chain, procurement, customer service, and operations to ensure business is performing efficiently and effectively to meet business unit objectives. Ensure funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements, maintain banking relationships, debt compliance, and manage liquidity needs resulting from short and long range forecasting and planning. Work with functional leads to generate financial forecasts, long-term business plans, and budgets to confirm approved strategic initiatives are included in respective processes.

Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements, maintain banking relationships and advise management on liquidity aspects of short and long range forecasting and planning.

Responsible for the financial results of multiple Business Units by reviewing financial information of manufactured products, customer profitability, market segment information, raw material volatility, and pricing to optimize total company profitability. Work with cross functional teams to provide necessary data and analysis to develop customer agreements and internal processes that incentivize the right behavior with customers/agents. Recommend the optional group of products yielding the highest profitability at optimal volumes. Provide business unit analysis and commentary for monthly financial statements, monthly forecasts and strategic and operating plans. Instrumental in ERP SAP infrastructure and reporting..

Responsible for supporting Accounting/Finance function from a business unit perspective. Activities included working on project teams as a financial lead to implement the Business Planning & Simulation (BPS) module of SAP, the reverse acquisition and merger of the former SI Corporation with Propex Inc., and the implementation of the Business Consolidation System (BCS) module of SAP. All projects included understanding business processes to be implemented across multiple functions of the business includiing blueprinting, realization, final preparation and go-live for the respective projects.. Duties included creating financial reports and analyzing and verifying all financial statement data.Additionally responsible for understanding the implementation and functionality of the Customer Relationship Management-Mobile Sales Client (CRM) module of SAP and its interface with the McGraw-Hill Construction Network including its marketing infrastructure as it relates to the Company's products and product lines.

Accountable for completing the company's monthly internal financial statements and financial package, bank financial statements, and scoreboard reporting. Managed consolidating budget process for business segments including revenue and asset budgeting, capital expenditures, cost center budgeting, and consolidation of financial statements. Initiated development of customized reporting within Financial module of SAP R3 ERP system and created many analytical reports for functions of the Company as a power-user of the Business Warehouse (BW) module of SAP including financial statements and profitability analysis reports.

Responsible for cash management of company, including wire transfers, debt forecasting, and bank reporting, Implemented new cash flow forecasting tool designed to identify multiple sources of cash outflow including capital expenditures, raw material purchases, debt services, etc. over a 52 week period. Position culminated with the payoff of all secured investors when the Company refinanced tis debt.

Accountable for all financial and administrative responsibilities for $8 million LTL freight corporation operating primarily in the Southeast US. Employed to institute sound initial procedures and improve financial reporting to ownership, banks, and other parties and to improve facility utilization, customer service, cash flow, and profit.
