One line: “I design and deliver training courses to support partner organisations to provide better patient care.” Joined the North East Ambulance Service as an emergency care support worker, before qualifying as a paramedic in 2016. Currently in commercial training (part of the education department) and responsible for creating and delivering training courses across the North East, supporting the commercial training team to bring in revenue which is reinvested into frontline services. It’s so much more than first aid training. One day I might be developing a bespoke training course for a CCG or a school, another day I’m delivering annual CPR and AED training to GPs, and on another day I’ll be delivering a first aid at work course to a large employer like Amazon or Nissan.
