I am an architect who specializes in interiors projects blending workplace strategies, technical and aesthetic solutions. More than 20 years of experience has awarded me opportunities to design, manage and market high level projects at the local, regional, national and international levels. In my current role with Haworth’s Workplace Strategy Group, formerly Ideation, I am a key link in leading global clients and project teams through research data interpretation and analysis to help shape and give form to actionable strategies and viable interior and furniture options. I work closely with project teams, architects and designers to collaborate on creating custom and innovative workplace solutions. By defining a client's organizational culture and business vision, amazing opportunities are revealed and translated into solutions. Dallas/Fort Worth Area

- Responsible for creating and maintaining the highest level of design for all project sizes and budgets.- Have implemented sustainability philosophy and resources in all projects to help ensure that HOK meets social and corporate green policies. - Team motivator, inspiring designers to take their ideas to the next level.- Global coordination with design directors to ensure all aspects of design are working together to create consistency internationally. - Involved with all presentations from interviews to completions of projects.- Developing and executing new design process to accommodate shortened project timelines.

- Responsible for overall direction of the Interiors department including studio vision, strategic planning, marketing, project leadership, project management and profitability of the department. - Implement and encourage higher level design process both in Interiors Studio and in collaboration with Architecture department.- Management of personnel and staffing decisions.- Manage all aspects of the project process; project lead development, marketing, securing new business, design through to project close and post-project client relationship.- Teach and mentor younger staff so they can become the next generation of great designers.

Project management and technical coordination for two large-scale hospitality projects in Cancun and Dominican Republic. Work with international team in Mexico City to meet client’s demands and 5-star service expectations.

Managed all phases of the project process from strategic work ways analysis & programming to project close-out. In charge of client relations, profitability of projects, team dynamics, meeting deadlines, project interviews, responses to requests for proposal. RFP responsibilities included setting project fees, developing project schedules and planning firm resources necessary to meet the completion requirements.
