I am the CEO of the Banna Property Group, a 3rd generation family business which is sometimes mistakenly called the Banana Group (thus the background I have used for my photo). That's what happens when I'm in charge of naming a company.I am lucky to lead a team of (mostly) talented, (occasionally) funny, (predominantly) intelligent and (always) hard-working individuals. They make my job easy so I can focus on my strengths including strategy, governance, innovative solutions and attempted Dad jokes. In addition to my broad property skills, I have been able to develop my capabilities in leadership, coaching and improving organisational culture, learning mostly from my many mistakes. I am involved in supporting philanthropic and social enterprises, including recently establishing a profit-for-purpose startup co-working space known as Haymarket HQ as well as the Banna Foundation. I recognise the importance of continual personal and professional development, and enjoy passing on the collective wisdom of my own mentors to those I now spend time helping. Having travelled extensively when I was younger, these days my life-balance time is usually spent with family, reading, playing & following sports and trying to work off my all too regular doses of chips and ice-cream by going to the gym. I've also recently developed an addiction - to playing the sport of pickleball so happy to talk about all things pickle-related.
Listed skills include Business Strategy, Commercial Real Estate, Management, Strategic Planning, and 10 others.
