I've had a leading hand in advanced technical, operational and implementation plans for studio and remote events using a combination of IP and traditional broadcast technical systems in order to expand production resources and reliability between studios and the field. No matter the technology or the need I've been able to build edit systems, remote data transfers, camera, audio and communication extensions via fiber optics in short (under 1km) to long distances (50+km) with high uptime (99.9%) availability. Lead the team which was the first US Sports facility to use EVS with a fully 10GIG interconnect, along with the first implementation of a true photonic router in any broadcast facility.As a six-time Emmy Award winner, I previously served as the HD Systems and Avid Edit Engineer for CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman, as well as an entertainment and sports communications engineer for Super Bowl XLV, the BCS Championship Game, the NFL’s NFC Championship Series and Live Earth CONCERT Television events. Before that I was as a Mobile Unit EIC for Game Creek Video, Senior Engineer for Cox Sports Television New England and TD / Production Manager for WTIC-TV.
