Brad Coleman has over 35 years of experience working with many of the most prolific and innovative Global Alternative Asset Management (“Alts”) firms as a strategic advisor, investor/principal, and board member. He has been at the forefront of the development and evolution of the Alts sector and related GP solutions strategies, which has given him a unique perspective on the ever-evolving asset management and Alts strategic landscape. An acknowledged leader, innovator, and builder of businesses and long-term client relationships, Brad has an extensive global network/ecosystem of C-suite relationships within Alts (Private Equity, Credit, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Secondaries and Allocators). For over 13 years Brad led the Global Financial Sponsors and Alternative Assets Investment Banking franchise at Citi, as its Global Head and Chairman. He has extensive investment banking and capital markets expertise across a variety of industries and products, including M&A, leveraged finance, equities and GP related transactions and GP solution strategies. Brad was a primary early hire at a newly established, now leading mid-market GP stakes/solutions firm, Hunter Point Capital (“HPC"), as Head of GP coverage and origination as well as a member of the management and investment committees. He played an important role in helping to establish the brand and build global GP relationships, while sourcing proprietary minority GP stake opportunities. After departing HPC, Brad continued to serve as a senior advisor. Brad is currently a Partner at SLR Capital Partners (“SLR”), an independent boutique alt asset manager focused on direct lending with expertise across a range of primarily senior secured financing solutions for U.S. middle market companies. Brad has a long history with SLR and it’s founders as both a banker and strategic partner. Brad's focus at SLR is on firm wide strategic growth initiatives. Brad also serves on the Board of Directors of Ares Acquisition Corp II, a special purpose acquisition company (“SPAC”) affiliated with Ares Management.
