Brad is the director of BIOME Consulting and is a Certified Environmental Practitioner, Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control with over 20 years of experience spanning State and Local Government and the consulting industry. He has a broad practical knowledge of development and the natural environment, which gives him the ability to successfully identify environmental and engineering constraints and opportunities in order to develop appropriate management strategies. During his career, Brad has gained in‐depth knowledge and understanding in the specialist environmental engineering field of urban water resource management along with environmental management and planning. This experience has provided him with a well‐rounded depth of knowledge and practical understanding of the most appropriate application of stormwater engineering within the industrial, commercial and community frameworks, taking into account its economic implications on development yield.Specialising in coastal management issues, Brad has been involved in the development of policy and management processes along with scientific studies and investigation. His key competencies in coastal zone management and strategic planning include coastal erosion and management, foreshore and dune vegetation rehabilitation and management plans, catchment hydrology, erosion and sediment control, marine and tidal flora and fauna ecological surveys and the development of environmental management strategies and procedures.
