The Whitehorse Council election results were released and I won the first preference vote by 1 vote (3,262 v 3,261) over the current Councillor of 12 years and the former Whitehorse Mayor. Unfortunately, I lost overall by only 135 votes out of almost 9,000 votes, however I am very proud of my achievement as I put in a lot of time and effort during this campaign and it was a great experience.
