Currently I am a member of the Luna Labs BioTech research group where I develop new products in the medical simulation/training and human factors engineering markets. My role as Medical Simulation Product Manager allows me to assist our team with multiple tasks including product development, customer discovery, business model canvas and market research as well as assisting with marketing materials. I have completed the DOE Energy I-Corps for SBIR/STTR and Virginia ICAP courses with a focus on Lean Startup and customer discovery.My primary product focus is our TrueClot line of bleeding control training products which include simulated clotting blood and wound models for realistic trauma training of military, EMS and Law Enforcement personnel. I currently serve as TrueClot Product Manager and, as the primary inventor of TrueClot, I have been involved in all aspects of its development into a commercial product from early prototype design and scale up through toll production. I have attended multiple EMS, Military and Tactical trade shows exhibiting the TrueClot product line and serve as the primary point of contact for TrueClot information and new product development. I manage the TrueClot website, Instagram account and email marketing and design all product labeling and marketing material. Our TrueClot line has grown to include wound packing and hemorrhage control task trainers, tourniquet task trainers, simulated hemostatic gauze and additional blood clotting simulation products. I work directly with our master distributor, Rescue Essentials, for domestic sales and promotion.
