Exertis is a global technology distribution company specializing in commercial Pro AV.In 2020 as they expanded their operations into Australia, I entered the business as the sole national sales rep (We're talking Middle of the pandemic) . With no local brand recognition, a portfolio of products new to the market and borders closed to traditional sales activities. I took to LinkedIn informed by my perspectives studying Digital Communications & Culture to build a network I could sell into. The result: $0-$2.4mill in 20 months.At which time a global acquisition led to the company exiting Australia, Asia, Latin America and my ultimate redundancy.
