Creative, innovative, dedicated, and hard-working with over 20 years of robotics experience in ground, air, and sea-based applications. My interests and abilities span the Robotics, Electrical, Computer, Systems, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineering disciplines and Entrepreneurship. I prefer working in a close-knit team environment with substantial ownership. My experiences include founding EKTO VR, a robotics VR hardware startup, as well as working on safety-critical systems and software for air transport aircraft, systems and structures for autonomous underwater vehicles, and stereolithography 3D printers.

    Founded an LLC to research and develop a total immersion virtual reality system. Created a concept combining a full-body haptic exoskeleton, actively controlled multi-axis gimbals, and a helmet-integrated display. Developed a single degree-of-freedom exoskeleton prototype using a custom-design series elastic actuator. Iterated mechanical designs through CAD, 3D printing, and 3D scanning. Designed and constructed an electrical architecture including sensor PCBs and microcontroller code. GUI development utilizing Matlab and Qt. Worked to replace PID controller with a model-based controller.
