I am a hardworking, loyal and dedicated project manager who will stop at nothing to ensure we deliver the highest quality projects. On a day to day basis I’m easy to get on with, organised and approachable. For me progression and personal development are key motivators that drive me to do bigger and better. Like many of us in the AV industry, I am a passionate musician who wanted to somehow turn audio into a career. While studying Entertainment at High School, I got talking to a sound technician when I realised that the live production industry and roles were not what I thought they were. Straight out of school I applied for a role as an audio visual apprentice at ALL AV, now Pro AV Solutions, and I haven’t looked back. AV Apprenticeships were unknown at the time and I was the first person to officially complete the Audio Visual Apprenticeship in Australia. I have constantly tried to push myself beyond my expectations at Pro AV and started working as a Site Foreman while in my third year apprenticeship. While I was on the tools I really wanted to learn more about becoming a Project Manager. When a temporary spot opened up after 7 years on the tools, I jumped at the opportunity and didn’t leave the role. I’m now not only an experienced Project Manager, I’m also a qualified Project Manager with a Diploma in Project Management PMBOK. As a Projects Director, I’m always satisfied when we deliver a successful project on time and on budget with an excellent user experience for the end user. Being responsible for the project deployment and then seeing the end result is such a great feeling. For our clients and my team, if they’re happy and satisfied, I’m happy and satisfied. A positive culture and work environment is so important to me and I really get a kick out of mentoring my team and watching them grow. In my spare time I love to pick up the guitar and if I ever have the weekend free I love to escape and go camping and 4WDing as well as travelling.
