As a plans examiner, I follow through with the entire plan review process. I review residential and large commercial photovoltaic plans, large commercial developments, churches, hotels, apartments, tenant improvements, structural engineering plans and documents, and residential plans. I facilitate plan review solutions with the architects, engineers, owners, our Fire Department, Engineering, and Planning Division staff. I am the department representative who attends weekly current project application meetings with the Fire, Police, Economic Development, and Planning Departments. I have also been assigned as the representative from the Building Division for the Planning Department's Cottage Home Program.
