Over the past seven years I have worked for several experiential education programs. With many of these programs, I have served as senior staff member in charge of leadership, development and mentorship of staff. I have also had the opportunity to mentor, guide and instruct numerous teenagers that have struggled with addictions, guidance and relationships in their lives. Through these experiences I have developed curricula, connected with parents and instructed in multiple environments.Most recently I have continued my education while at the University of Utah, where I have completed nine credit hours focusing on computer science and engineering. These credits have allowed me to transfer my teaching license to state of Utah. I am currently licensed in Secondary Education, with an endorsement in Technology and Engineering Education through 2017.

As a senior instructor I was in charge of the safety and the therapeutic directives of six to ten adolescents and field instructors for a period of eight days at a time throughout the calendar year. Working as a senior instructor for Second Nature gave me the opportunity to learn and grow as an individual, while still being an educator and a mentor to the students of Second Nature.
