About Brad Griff
As an agriculture advocate, the success I have had in making a difference for farming communities can be attributed to one core strategy: listen to the people I serve and develop solutions that address their concerns. Partnering with farmers, I develop legislative, communication, marketing, and social media strategies that grow awareness and impact change. In my current position as the Executive Director of the Snake River Sugarbeet Growers Association, I partnered with sugarbeet farmers in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon to unify the associations in these states. With this new multi-state strategy, association membership grew from 500 to 700, and the mission of making the voices of sugarbeet farmers heard in Washington, D.C, and locally, strengthened. My knowledge of the legislative process comes from eight years experience working for U.S. Congressman Raul Labrador, U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar, and U.S. Senator Mike Crapo. In these offices, I authored legislation, ushered bills through the legislative process and to the President’s desk for signature, engaged with 1000s of constituents, and provided a voice for agriculture in these offices. I have relationships with legislative stakeholders, political decision-makers, and agricultural leaders in Washington, D.C. and Idaho. Working with the USDA, FDA, EPA, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, and other agriculture and natural resource organizations, I implement strategies that find common ground and are win-win outcomes for all parties. My skillset includes:• Legislative Process• Legislative Advocacy• Public Policy Analysis• Coalition Building• Stakeholder Partnerships• Association Growth • Membership Engagement• Media Relations• Public Speaking• Strategic Communications• Agency Coordination• OperationsFarming is in my DNA. My grandfather started his farm in the 1940s farming corn, alfalfa, wheat, and barley. My mission is to speak out for farmers and provide the platforms for farmers to speak for themselves, so their stories can be heard by political decision-makers impacting the future of their farms and their families. Reach out to discuss how my approach to political advocacy in agriculture could be a good fit for empowering your organization’s growth and political impact. 💻 BradDGriff@gmail.com📞 208-596-0079
