Delivery Manager Roads
CurrentI directed a high-performing team of four project/contract managers and a graduate engineer to manage the region's annual project portfolio valued at up to $35M. Utilizing the Southern network contract and MRWA state-wide road construction panel, I facilitated the development, design, delivery, review, and handover of projects as specified in the regional delivery plan. I led the preparation of contract documentation and the tendering process for PTWs, including independent cost verification of MCWs. Additionally, I oversaw DMW deliveries and reviewed the performance of contracts and contractors for all executed works. My role included administering payments, claims, and variations, which contributed to ongoing improvements in contract management and DMW processes. I also steered safety, health, and wellbeing (SHW) initiatives throughout the project delivery process.Key Projects:• Thompsons Hill realignment on South Western Hwy (3km), involving 19m Cut operation and salvage of raw materials for onsite use.• Lane Poole overlay and realignments (9km) in collaboration with DBCA.• Construction of 6 x Bus Stops for PTA, also in collaboration.• Bannister Maradong Widening (6km) from a 7m seal to 10m seal.• Removal of 7 x Bridge structures on South Western Hwy for Harvey Water Irrigation Channel.• Vittoria Rd Preload for Roundabout on South Western Hwy.• Low-Cost Shoulder Sealing on Vasse Hwy (33km).• Sidetrack for Bridge 91 (Weld River) on South Western Hwy, including the first installation of Bailey Bridge by Bridge Crew.
