I'm a tech entrepreneur that has been active in startups for more than 20 years as a CEO, board member, advisor and investor, and have successfully led M&A transactions with publicly traded companies including The Hartford, MassMutual and nCino. I am currently Chairman and a founding investor in Delicious AI, an artificial intelligence andmachine learning company that builds state-of-the-art technology to address the object detection, sales optimization and audit needs of large retail businesses. I also advise individuals and private companies, mostly in the technology sector, and mostly in the early growth through M&A stages. Prior to Delicious AI I served as GM for nCino’s Portfolio Analytics Group (formerly acquired tech start up Visible Equity) which provides cloud-based data analytics solutions to more than 1,000 banks and credit unions across the U.S. My previous role was as CEO & Chairman and a founding investor of Visible Equity which was acquired by nCino in 2019, and IPO’d in 2020 (NCNO). Prior to Visible Equity, I served as Vice President & Managing Director at MassMutual Financial Group, with overall management responsibility for their Pension Solutions Group (formerly acquired tech start up TopNoggin, where I was President & CEO and board member). PSG provided web-based pension and actuarial solutions to large defined benefit plan sponsors. During my time at MassMutual and Visible Equity, I also served as an advisor and investor to Financial Guard, an online Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) that was acquired by Legg Mason (2016), now a division of Franklin Templeton (2020).Prior to my various tech leadership roles, I spent a few years as Senior Vice President, Managing Director of GSW World Wide (pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing and advertising). Previous to GSW I enjoyed several years in the pharmaceutical industry in roles including sales, regional and national account management, and product management.I received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!), in Business Administration (duel emphasis: Finance, Real Estate).
