Ensures operational impact and work activity risk assessment is performed for emergent conditions, and coordinates the initial problem resolution meeting.Reports emergent issue status and action plans to the Shift Managers and Outage Directors.Evaluates the potential impact of adding or deleting work activities to the schedule, and provides recommendations to the Outage Director.Owner of the 30 minute Rule and initiates actions toresolve work delays.Conducts the dayshift (0630) & nightshift (1830) outage meetings as directed.Provides the oversight function for the One Stop Shop Supervisors, the Work Window Managers and Project Managers as assigned.Maintains the Event Free Clock Reset in the One Stop Shop.Assists the Outage Director in maintaining the ORAM,Milestones and Key Handoffs list for the 0630 / 1830 outagemeetings as directed. Maintains cognizance of restraints/conflicts inassigned work window and ensures resolution.Ensures out-of-service and return-to-service plans (includinglay-up plans) are developed and implemented.Coordinates performance of applicable procedures needed forwork window area, including pre- and post-jobs briefs.Conducts a briefing with the Unit Supervisor at least twiceper shift (beginning and end of shift) or more frequently asplant/system conditions change. These briefings will includeproject status, status of on going evolutions, planned activitiesfor the shift or up coming shift, and any issues that are beingtracked in their respective areas.Presents the daily plan, priorities, key handoffs, anddiscusses appropriate lessons learned at the 0630/1830meetings.
Reactor Operator
.Perform operations and surveillances in accordance with approvedprocedures.Operate all equipment controlled from the main control board area.Monitor equipment and system parameters using normal and redundantindications.Initiate or perform operator actions required by normal, off-normal,emergency, and annunciator response procedures applicable to the maincontrol board area.Perform a manual Reactor Trip or manual actuation of Emergency SafetySystems as required to mitigate consequences of transients or accidents.Perform Operations scheduled surveillance tests in accordance with thedaily work schedule.
Head Plant Operator
Directly assist the Field Supervisor and/or the Unit Supervisor incoordinating shift activities such as Equipment Clearance Orders,Surveillances, Valve Lineups, etc.Maintain the crew’s watch bill while ensuring that the Plant Operators ontheir crew are maintaining their qualifications and certifications.Perform the duties and maintain the qualifications of the Fire BrigadeLeader. Ensure the Fire Brigade qualifications are current for their crews andthat the Fire Brigade is properly staffed.Perform the duties of an Outage Coordinator out of the One Stop Shopduring refueling outages as assigned.Provide on-the-job training (OJT) and on-the-job evaluations (OJE) foroperations personnel.
