Manage the Software and Test Engineering departments in a fast-paced work environment of shifting priorities. My primary focus is on process improvement, software quality and product development. In the product development role I pursue new technologies which expand the companies product offerings in the area of communications, air traffic control and Unmanned Air Vehicle applications for both commercial and military arenas.

Lead in program development integrating systems and software offered by Sunhillo for specific program application. One such program was for the US Navy providing a large communication matrix-like switch that handles communications for a region of the United States.

Worked on dedicated projects related to Air Traffic communication systems and various test applications. Primary areas of development were on Linux platforms with software in c/c++ with web interfaces using JavaScript, CGI and CSS. Also developed various test tool products using C#.

Started a company focused on software and engineering consulting. Through the initial launch of the company also developed and produced a product called "QuantumDCS". QuantumDCS is a software package that provides user interface, process and motion control of heavy printing machinery in a distributed architecture. The QuantumDCS software package is in use throughout the USA and around the world in many 24/7 operations.

THEM provides packaging solutions to its customer base in the form of new innovations and representative of Japanese equipment. My contribution was to consult in the area of engineering management, technical liaison and as a front-line engineering resource to support the business especially in R&D initiatives.

Participated as part of the P&G team responsible for delivery of a new oral hygiene product. My contribution on this project evolved from controls support specialist to project management of multiple phases and design of the production area required to produce the product in various forms.

Worked on the development of a number of company software projects in the Air Traffic Control industry. Projects were varied from embedded software to application software on UNIX and Windows platforms.

Manufacturer of automated storefront, POS shopping system. My name appears on two Patents from work on this assignment which was both electrical (motor control/gantry systems) and software (C/C++, VB). The project was salvaged from an earlier 18 month attempt that had failed to a working prototype in only five months.

Largest manufacturer of Corrugated Paper machinery in the USA at that time. Developed software for use on various company product lines primarily in user interface and process control. Platform was Windows NT with coding in c++ and VB.

Short project to help Moore Products (later bought by Siemens) develop their real-time programmable logic controller platform on Windows NT.
