Built and led the portfolio / asset management team to create and implement repositioning strategies for a highly leveraged 28-building, value-add portfolio. Ultimately transformed the portfolio into a 13-building stabilized core portfolio in the Washington, D.C. area. I worked closely with the various disciplines within the region in the full spectrum of operating and investment activities for the portfolio: creation of leasing strategies and guidelines, entitlement and repositioning, redevelopment of properties, sales, financings, raising equity, valuations, budgets, pro-forma underwriting, and property management. My responsibilities also included serving as the primary person responsible for managing key relationships with the institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds.

Contributed to the creation and growth of a number of capital markets business lines involving investment sales, corporate finance transactions and turnaround situations. * Completed $1.5 billion in transactions nationwide involving investment sales, workouts and financings for owners of office, retail, mixed-use and multifamily properties * Completed over $500 million in capital markets transactions on behalf of corporate clients, involving sale/leasebacks, dispositions and recapitalizations

Completed the Citicorp Global Managers Training Program and placed into Citicorp’s commercial real estate lending group. * Devised and implemented over $1.0 billion in workout strategies on loan facilities involving office, retail and multifamily properties * Relationship manager for owners of retail strip centers and regional malls
