Brad Heppner is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of The Beneficient Company Group, L.P., (Ben for short).Through Brad’s leadership, Ben is empowering individual and smaller institutional investors with a platform built to offer a simple, rapid, and cost-effective way to access liquidity from their alternative assets. Prior to Beneficient, Brad was the majority owner and chairman of The Crossroads Group, one of the oldest and largest alternative asset fund of funds registered investment advisors. A recognized leader in the alternative investment industry, he has founded 10 alternative investment companies, including PEN Indemnity Insurance Company, Ltd. (Pen), The Crossroads Group, L.P., Constitution Private Capital Company, L.L.C. and Capital Analytics. Earlier in his career, he held several positions at Goldman Sachs, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur charitable foundation, and Bain & Company. Originally from Kansas, Brad was a founder and previous director of his Kansas home town Community Foundation and currently serves on the board of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He earned a Master of Management from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a BBA, BBS, and BA from Southern Methodist University.
