Assisted in the development of clinical trials serving the myeloid disease group population (e.g. AML, MDS); enrolled subjects; facilitated communication and coordinated the efforts of the clinical trial team; maintained source documentation.

Heart, Lung, and Regenerative Medicine ProgramsThe program referral coordinator serves as a communication liaison between referring physicians, hospitals, dialysis centers, insurance companies, self-referred patients and Mayo Clinic. The incumbent will collect and analyze data on established and prospective patients as well as referring physicians and payer patterns. Referral trends will be proactively analyzed to understand market share trends opportunities. The incumbent will participate in marketing outreach site visits to referring providers and is expected to foster collaboration with Mayo Clinic's Referring Physician Office. The referral coordinator will represent assigned transplant programs in both programmatic and Transplant Center level marketing initiatives, strategic planning, public affairs, and communication efforts. The incumbent is responsible for scheduling new patient evaluations along with other patient appointments, physician calendar management responsibilities as assigned. The referral coordinator plays a lead role within the program by maintaining a high level of visibility and programmatic knowledge. Programmatic participation may include duties as selection conference and waitlist management administrative support. The incumbent is expected to actively identify areas for process improvement and remove barriers to efficiency. Independent facilitation of process improvement initiatives and teams is expected.

Facilitates patient visits and supports the health care provider by anticipating and responding to patient needs and requests of the health careteam. Allows care providers to focus on patient care by coordinating details of patient visits which include: coordinating appointment schedulesand daily activities of the care providers, preparing patients, completing pre-examination record information, managing the flow of patientmaterials, communicating scheduling delays or changes to the appropriate individuals, and serving as a direct contact and resource to the patient.Also performs duties of the patient service representative when the workload allows.
