My latest endeavor is entrepreneurial. Through my business, Elkhorn Inspections LLC, I leverage many of my existing strengths: knowledge of construction, capital renewal planning, customer service, commercial building inspecting, and technical writing. All of these strengths were developed while in facilities management, commercial building maintenance, and commercial construction, I love the opportunity to meet new people, share my expertise with them, and see something new each day. I gain a deep sense of fulfillment by providing information and perspective to customers who are about to make one of the most impactful decisions of their lives (buying a home).I enjoy working in highly challenging environments. Continual Improvement has always been my way of life. I am the past treasurer of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) Northern Rockies chapter, and the past President of the Board for the Intermountain Building Operators Association (IBOA). I am skilled in identifying innovative new approaches to the same old challenges, and also skilled in energy management, BAS, CMMS, strategic realignment of facilities operations, and employee engagement/development. My strategic approach to problem solving has continuously resulted in increased efficiency and long-term savings for my employers. I enjoy networking and knowledge sharing with industry professionals for the purpose of solving common problems and helping others achieve their maximum career potential.
