•Coordinated and successfully supervised multiple solar commercial and small utility commissioning projects often occurring simultaneously while working cross functionally to improve processes and share critical feedback driving systemic improvements.•Managed on-site technicians, verified pre-commissioning deliverables, documented construction progress, and scheduled site commissioning. •Communicated and successfully executed commissioning strategies for all DG projects across multiple sites utilizing different products and provided technical PV expertise for effective troubleshooting to resolve performance issues during each project’s performance validation period.•Authored technical documents and forms establishing standards and procedures used for onsite activities and reporting. •Worked closely with Project Management Team, Engineering, Procurement and Project Finance to ensure commissioning activities and scheduling are in alignment with product and industry standards, customer expectations and contractual obligations. •Served as a liaison between Project Team and Operations & Maintenance ensuring projects were operating and performing as designed prior to initiating PeGu and O&M Agreements with a solid focus on timing and client satisfaction.•Utilized eBuilder, Maximo, PI Coresight, Arena, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.

•Conducted field work and managed subcontractors to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair all aspects of a photovoltaic system including mechanical systems, electrical componentry, product communication, site communication, and system performance. •Required expert knowledge of central inverters, string inverters, Modbus over RS-485 communication systems, Ethernet communication systems, PV tracker configuration, and electrical meter configuration.•Worked onsite to commission new photovoltaic systems providing strong knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, SunPower design specifications, SunPower product specifications, and NEC code.•Provided onsite customer training covering basic safety, operation and maintenance of the customer’s specific photovoltaic system along with highlights from their O&M contract.

•Completed technical inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of photovoltaic systems ranging in output from 10KW to 25MW. Generated clearly written reports and work logs for all site visits.•Communicated directly with commercial clients, scheduled site visits, explained performance malfunctions, and provided successful onsite solutions. •Worked on SunPower commercial contracts across the United States and gained in-depth knowledge of mitigating the effects various climates and wildlife have on long term quality and performance of photovoltaic systems.

•Responsible for maintaining work truck inventory and preparing installation crew for the day’s activities.•Assisted foreman directing and leading quality work practices and installations, primarily responsible for leading racking, panel installation and electrical installation on rooftops. Served as acting foreman when required and oversaw entire jobsite with personal focus on AC interconnection and inverter installation.

•Installed residential and small commercial photovoltaic systems typically working with SMA, Xantrex and Fronius inverters.•Installation required knowledge encompassing all components of a PV system including racking, ground mounts (including installation of piers), modules, conduit and conductor routing, inverters and AC components.

•Responsible for running and operating all aspects of a seasonal house painting operation including hiring, sales, maintaining inventory, bids and payments, customer relationships, and overseeing a crew of college age painters.
