After gaining a few years of experience in public accounting, I became an accountant and manager for a local organic fertilizer company. I then accepted a new position as an accountant, manager, and eventually sales representative for a grain elevator and sunflower processing plant in Fort Morgan. In 2016 I joined the family business, Lebsock 7, LLLP (The 7 stands for the 7 Lebsock children) as a general manager of L7 Trading, LLC, which bought and sold sunflower seeds and millet. L7 Ag, LLC was formed in June of 2018 with the purpose of cultivating industrial hemp in Colorado under the pilot program created by the 2016 farm bill. I am currently the general manager of L7 Ag. My six siblings and I, and my parents continue to farm hemp in Sterling. We have now added two extraction facilities to the L7 Ag resume and are selling isolate and CBD products as well. Growing up and working within the different family businesses, I have honed my skills inaccounting, negotiating, commodities trading, and marketing.
