In 1995 I began my career with the Memphis Police Department as a Police Service Technician (PST). Specializing in traffic crash investigations, traffic control, traffic related enforcement, and assisting the needs of commissioned police officers. In 1997 I joined the Shelby County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy Sheriff. My career has led me working in various fields, which includes all 3 shifts of the Patrol Division, Fugitive Apprehension, Court Room Security, Facility Security, and assignments as a Detective. In past assignments, I worked with the ALERT Unit, where I served Shelby County on the District Attorney General's Public Corruption and Economic Crime Task Force. Since July 2017, I was assigned as a Sergeant under Shelby County's Homeland Security Division, assigned to the United States Secret Service Task Force. The unit specializes in White Collar Crime Investigations, which includes: Identity Theft, Fraud, Money Laundering, Large Scale Embezzlements, Counterfeiting, Forgery, Special Investigation Cases, and the Protection of high value assets. I am currently assigned to the Patrol Division, as the Baker Shift Commanding Lieutenant. I have also served as the Hostage Negotiator Team Leader, which is an extension of the Shelby County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team. Since being hired with the Sheriff's Office, I work part time coordinating with two national security companies, Allied Universal Risk Management and Off-Duty Services Inc; which serves the Greater Memphis Area. On September 18, 2013 I was sworn in as a Reserve with the United States Coast Guard. I am a Special Agent with The Coast Guard Investigative Service (CGIS)....Semper Paratus!!!!
