- Responsible for all facility maintenance and equipment in a 35,000 square foot high tech manufacturing facility operating on a 3 shift schedule.- Maintain and update six plating lines including two automated systems that handle high volume rack and barrel plating.- Maintain twelve high temperature multi zone conveyer furnaces, one pusher hearth furnace and numerous lower temperature ovens and dryers. Work involves replacing heaters and furnace retorts, electrical work on control systems and the up keep of variable speed belt drive systems.- Designed and built large distilled water system which allows quick change outs of resin bed and charcoal filter columns.- Maintain all roof top and ground based HVAC systems, acid scrubbers and evaporation equipment.- Handle all server back-ups and resolve in-house computer issues working with the off-site corporate Help Desk.- Trouble shoot, maintain and improve several pieces of automated assembly equipment including programming PLCs, adding and adjusting fiber amps and tuning and calibrating controllers.- Manage all work and cost associated with outside contractors including electrical, landscaping, snow removal and building security systems.
