My knowledge of Physics, Mathematics and Astronomy has given me the ability to view the world through a scientific lens. It has also provided me with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are used extensively in my area of study. My hard work and determination during my studies has resulted in my induction into the National Physics Honor Society. My undergraduate research has given me experience in meeting deadlines, analyzing data and collaborating on research papers. This research involves using radio data from the Very Large Array to determine the mass and morphology of early-type galaxies. I have engaged in multiple physics education programs during my time at Virginia Tech, including the physics outreach program and the learning assistant program. During my time as the learning assistant for our Modern Physics course, I held office hours and exam preparation sessions, as well as creating my own preliminary exam. Currently, I work as a Spectrum Engineer at ACES Corporation. My duties include ensuring the protection of client's current and future frequency use. This involves attending ITU-R meetings, both as a sector member and a U.S. delegate, performing interference analysis, generating simulations using STK, and developing reports to keep clients up-to-date on projects.
