About Brad Macfarlane

As a veteran of Utah law enforcement, Brad has a diverse and uniquely qualified background of instructional capabilities and operational expertise. Brad’s professional career began as a law enforcement officer starting with a mid-sized city police department and then a sheriff’s office covering a diverse cross-section of urban and rural needs. He then went to work for a state law enforcement agency as investigations sergeant and police instructor. Brad is currently a police officer for mid-sized city police agency assigned to the patrol division, traffic unit motor detail. Brad’s career has included positions in highway interdiction, SRO, Motors, investigations and patrol supervision. Brad was also deputized with the U.S. Marshals Service and assigned to the Fugitive Task Force targeting dangerous fugitives. Brad was a member of two regional SWAT teams as an operator. During his time with SWAT he was involved in numerous critical incidents and performed in roles that included breacher, scout and assistant to the entry team leader. Brad also participated in multiple protective details and worked with several government protective agencies. Brad is a POST certified instructor in multiple disciplines. He is also a Level 1 CrossFit Instructor, outdoor enthusiast, and jiu jitsu practitioner.Brad has worked with the PFC Group of Companies in Las Vegas Nevada as an instructor supporting PFC Training and as a Protection Agent for PFC Safeguards projects. He is an experienced Protection Specialist with skills in Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Crisis Management, Leadership, Risk Management, and Criminal Law. Brad has worked for Fortune 500 companies, professional athletes, celebrities, and currently is the senior protection agent on a security detail for a high net worth family. Brad also has an extensive training background in Executive Protection, Site and Venue Security, Defensive Driving, Firearms, Emergency Medical Techniques, Investigations, Tactical Operations, Combatives, & Surveillance.
