“Daddy, your beard smells... like... chocolate.”My then two year old daughter didn’t yet have the vocabulary for this tough conversation, but she was trying to tell me something - my Blue Coast Burrito breath was stanky-stank. I popped in a piece of gum, she got a yogurt squeeze, and we were all good. The ability to take feedback from users to make our brands and products better is important. Otherwise we walk around with chocolate breath and uncomfortable people. I’m very much into creating and editing user journeys to be intuitive and engaging, while meeting both the business requirements and user expectations. It’s kind of my jam. Some of my other interests:Design (graphic and web)SEOWeb Analytics Music (on the side for fun)I’ve also been known to manage projects and teams, vendor relationships, online content, reporting and analysis, and a drop ship program. Our small team and huge expectations mean we each get to develop a diverse skill set as we manage big portions of the eCommerce business. I’ve been fortunate to be a part of large scale projects like multiple full-site redesigns and platform migrations, BOPIS/BOSS designs, iterative user testing and analysis, and Information Architecture overhaul. I like the high stakes, and I’m a believer in collaboration to make the best possible deliverables to meet our business goals. And yes, I do have my daughter’s quote on a coffee mug, because of course I do.
