Xr Developer
CurrentMy duties as an XR developer extend across a range of skills and software. Primary areas of required expertise include extensive knowledge of real-time rendering and blueprint coding using the Unreal Engine. I handle the setup and creation of Unreal projects for mobile, desktop, and VR target hardware. I have an understanding of level design, photorealism, lighting, and proper 3D scale. I also have thorough 3D modeling skills, and am able to create high and low-poly game-ready assets. RESPONSIBILITES • Setup and build Unreal Engine projects for a range of target platforms • Design frameworks and gameplay functionalities using the Unreal Engine blueprint system • 3D model a wide range of assets from small details to large-scale structures• Interpret CAD/PDF construction documents with a very high attention to detail to create 3D buildings and structures• Carefully interpret design documents to understand client project requirements• Create textures using Photoshop and other painting programs, and create high-quality materials with the Unreal Engine material editor• Create photo-realistic 3D environments• Collaborate efficiently and effectively with team members and manage division of work• Research new tools/methods of development to heighten the efficiency of the development process and the quality of the final results
