Managed an organization of 26 professionals that included all areas of Information Technology and the Project Management Team. Currently tasked with developing and directing the bank’s overall IT strategy and ongoing support by working closely with senior management, business unit leaders, IT Committee members, and the Board of Directors to provide vision and leadership in all aspects of IT management and operations. Strategic leadership to ensure the Information Technology Infrastructure and Infrastructure Management are aligned with business priorities. Overseeing projects, budgets, and ROI related to enterprise-wide adoption of mobile security, strategic hosting and cloud based outsourcing such as email in the cloud via Office365, hosted VoIP, and Azure for co-developed, cloud-based web applications. Lead the team as the primary interface for all internal/external audits as well as FDIC/DBO exams. Led a team of 15 Senior level IT Professionals, with two direct reports, an expense budget responsibility of $10MM, and capital budget oversight of more than $3MM. Managed all areas of IT Operations including 24X7 Data Center Operations, Network Operations Command Center, Oracle Operations, Unix Support, Web Infrastructure, IT Project Management, Implementation Engineering, Application Engineering, Systems Monitoring utilizing SCOM, Data Network engineering, Voice Network enginerring, and Data/Voice Architecture. Control budget actuals and manage annual operational forecasting for direct organization as well as all IT operational support and maintenance contracts. Project Leader for multiple IT enhancements including Data Center Architecture, Data Center Consolidation/Migration, and IT Architectural Standards Initiative. Proven track record as an effective manager of reporting staff members through guidance and empowerment as well as a mentor to other management peers. Key accomplishments include:• Led IT Operations project teams in the creation of computing environments for the program to separate the Bank from Fremont Investment & Loan. • Headed focused project team, comprised of Bank Management, internal auditors, and IT staff, in the creation and execution of the Continuous IT Audit Program.• Partnered with Bank management in the selection, and led the operational and architectural projects to implement a replacement Core Banking system, the customer facing solution used to manage over $4B in deposits at the Bank’s 21 Branch locations.• Developed proven budget models and unbiased processes to reduce Information Technology operational expenses comparing selective outsourcing or cloud computing costs versus capital expenses to grow and expand the Bank’s internal cloud environment through the use virtual computing systems.

We transitioned from Fremont to CapitalSource Bank over a 2½ day period with no interruption in service or loss of information.• Re-architected Oracle E-Business configuration for HR, Procurement, and Financial modules, including implementation of hot backups to DR site• Negotiated contracts for licensing agreements with all vendors; such as Oracle, Microsoft, Symantec, and VMWare.• Led the planning and execution teams charged with splitting the company's application portfolio on 3 occasions, including asset allocation of personnel and equipment as well as contract negotiation while meeting aggressive timetables• Supported the various activities related to shutting down and decommissioning of the distributed loan origination and servicing locations, as part of the loan origination business termination.
