The Division Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a business unit or facility providing guidance, setting standards, and supervising employees. Manages daily operations and takes responsibility for all aspects of the business units under their control. Formulate goals with respect to the education, training and skills of personnel. Provides oversight and management of workload to ensure work is completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction. Monitors good housekeeping and environmental conditions to ensure they do not adversely affect the required quality of any measurement. Oversees safety training and ensures that the facility remains in compliance with JM Test Systems Safety Manual. Help identify training needs and ensures users have been trained on the correct use of the lab equipment, in addition to mentoring and disciplining users for not following safety policies/procedures that have been established for JMTS. Effectively communicates with customers and develops client relationships through excellent customer service. This position supports company operations to foster excellence in executing JM Test Core Values, following all system protocols in compliance with those standards (Quality, Safety, NAIL, ISO 17025) regulations and company policies.

The Lead Technical Specialist (LTS) offers a higher level of technical experience and expertise to troubleshoot issues and provide innovative, creative, effective long term solutions to various issues with calibration equipment. The primary function of this position is to apply technical products knowledge to support Onsite services, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of test equipment onsite at customers facility. The LTS works closely with the Technical Support Manager in support of engineering project, troubleshoot and solve issues, calibrate and make decisions regarding all types of measuring and test equipment. This may include making recommendations, product evaluations, project review, procedure development, research and development, and corrective action reporting. This position also requires the ability to train others in all facets associated with this position and assisting with training documentation. Effectively communicates with customers and develops client relationships through excellent customer service.

Apply knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics and electronics to calibrate inspection, measurement and test equipment in the electrical, dimensional, physical, mechanical and/or optical disciplines to ensure measurement accuracy. Repair,clean, calibrate and certify test instruments and related equipment utilizing appropriate measurement procedures and performing corrective actions to address identified measurement problems. Adapt equipment, standards and procedures to accomplish unique measurements. Maintain calibration standards.
