Taking an approach that allows people to be themselves and not just a "worker/employee" has proven time after time to be beneficial for both the company and individuals. Understanding that leaders are not present to "tell people what to do" and a true leader facilitates success for their team is a philosophy that I live by. Focusing on those concepts has allowed our team the level of comfort necessary to approach challenges in new and interesting ways, and without fear of judgement.
