About Brad Newton

An adaptable problem solver, I enjoy a technical challenge and using technologies that are otherwise unfamiliar. I've picked up everything from Windows server administration, to network design and administration, VOIP, Visualization and more things than I can remember. Thanks to my hobbyist-IT-consultant roots I am adept at piecing together solutions from disparate components and leveraging open-source and hardware-agnostic solutions to produce results. I have intimate knowledge of Windows Servers (2008+) and am familiar with CentOS/RHEL and Debian-based Linux platforms as wellI have worked both in Managed Services Providers and Enterprise environments. I have designed and built data center environments for VMWare-based virtual environments ranging from 5-hosts and 50 VMs to 25-hosts and 300-VMs with the associated storage and networking infrastructure. I have led 5000-mailbox M365 migrations, including a "Greenfield" Hybrid Azure/M365 deployment including a MSCS PKI deployment. Most recently, I have deployed PKI Certificate Lifecycle Management software that automates the enrollment, renewal, and general management of PKI (SSL/TLS) certificates. Deployments have ranged from "monitoring-only" deployments managing 1,000 certificates signed by public CAs, to PKIaaS integrations managing millions of certificates.
