I am a registered Teacher currently working at Arcadia College and hold a Master of Secondary Teaching Degree. I also hold a Bachelor of Counselling – Clinical Counselling and Applied Psychology. I have five years’ experience working as a mentor of teenagers at the Emmanuel College “The Stand Academy” and most recently concurrent with my advanced tertiary studies mentoring troubled students at Arcadia College working in wellbeing and as a Teacher Aide.My studies, degree qualifications and work experience with young women and men in the mental health, wellbeing and life skills space has fuelled my passion to support our youth and young adults to become more resilient in their own lives and to help them strive for excellence and to help them become better people. My passion for AFL, fitness, sport and helping young people combined with my core objective is to work in a workplace that promises excellence and long-term personal growth and wellbeing and that encourages good decision making by investing in the personal development of its individuals both today and into the future. My pathway into the wellbeing and mentoring areas stems from my practical experiences in working as a mentor throughout my later secondary school and tertiary education. My attraction to the development and wellbeing space stems from its ability to make a positive difference and to enrich our lives today and tomorrow.
