For more than five years, I worked with the cofounders of Visage to build our company from the ground up. In the early years, we worked to define product direction and build an MVP, grow our team, close deals, raise investment, and onboard new customers. For the last three years, I focused on product development by serving as the team's lead software engineer and architect while working to build a top notch design application in the browser.The first version of Visage was built using C# .Net on top of AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS), and the final version was built on Rails, Heroku and Postgres. I have a passion for building services, playing with cloud infrastructure, learning new technologies, and helping my team members grow.

I moved down to California to work with the great people at Column Five and start a labs division to focus on using innovative technological solutions to problems in the online marketing space. It took us a little over a year of building interactive projects and brainstorming to figure out what to build, build a prototype, and understand that this one project would require focus and commitment. Instead of working on many small projects, we raised funding and started Visage where I spent my next 4 years working with talented and inspiring colleagues and friends to build the product we have today.

While working as a member of the web development team at Motorcycle USA, my primary focus was the redesign, development, and continuous improvement of https://motorcycle-superstore.com. In order to achieve these goals, I was responsible for managing development projects and teams working on our highest priority projects. Such projects included developing the online store from the ground up and developing backend applications and services from inventory control, product management, electronic payment processing, and notification services to warehouse and shipping processes.

As a Software Developer and Analyst II at Lithia, my primary focus was developing enterprise work flow, efficiency, and reporting tools to help improve operations. I managed projects and developed systems which provided innovative solutions to Lithia's many and various needs by taking a cradle to grave approach to systems development. This was accomplished by interviewing customers, understanding their needs, defining requirements, creating a project roadmap, and managing the development effort and rollout.I had broad responsibility for BI systems, our data warehouse, enterprise systems, and web development.
