Directed Underground Residential Development projects including project scoping, estimating, design and construction/commissioning of 11kV and LV projects across the Contestable and Non-Contestable markets. ▪ Partnered with key stakeholders, designers, consultants, civil contractors, electrical contractors and internal team members in Field Services, Planning, and Quality of Supply. ▪ Recognized representative of SA Power Networks with UGL Engineering to coordinate, design, and plan projects through from stakeholder to relocate 3.4kms of overhead conductors and poles and facilitate the installation of a 110MW solar farm. ▪ Collaborated with ARTC on rail corridor projects to upgrade existing overhead infrastructure and increase customer power reliability.

I was a rugby league referee for 15 seasons. I started with under 6's in the juniors and worked my way right up to 2nd Grade in the seniors. In this role I worked in a team with two touch judges to adjudicate a game. The challenges involved included staying concentrated and composed for over an hour in front of large "engaged" crowds (up to 1000 people) while analysing situations in the game and appropriately applying the laws of the game to make decisions. Not only did I have to adjudicate to the rules of that game, but also I had to control the game (often played amongst tough teenagers) and be proactive by trying to prevent "unsportingly" events from occurring. This is all while under physical fatigue from moving around the field and intrinsic pressure from constant assessment from a mentor referee. The role expanded beyond the footy field with follow-up meetings and judiciary hearings relating to on-field and off-field discretions. In these hearings I was placed in front of a panel to whom I would state my version of events and then I would be open to questions from the panel and from the infringing player's party (which often included legal representatives). The skills and experience I gained from my time as a referee has formed my skills in leadership, team work, organisation, being able to conduct myself appropriately and make correct decisions while under pressure and most of all communication skills.

Negotiated an under-boring contract involving the main northern railway line and M1 freeway. Represented the company during meetings with stakeholders. ▪ Directed and delivered a $16M capital project on time and under budget. Managed, during tenure, a $100M project portfolio including estimating, budgeting and scope requirements. ▪ Administered contracts regarding vegetation management works, street lighting maintenance audits, service location works, and perimeter fencing works at fire hydrant upgrades.▪ Supervised the Project Management of Zone Development projects and construction of 11kV cable projects working closely with key stakeholders.

Coordinated overhead works to ensure that line worker crews were correctly allocated on pole replacements, cross-arm replacements, insulator replacements, maintenance and repairs to air brake switches and links, pole corrective maintenance, and the occasional re-design. ▪ Scheduled programming works for Live-Line Workers, corrective maintenance jobs, maintenance and repairs to air brake switches within the Ausgrid network. ▪ Owned responsibility for programming of overhead works and the maintenance portfolio across the Wyong Shire Council region.▪ Processed hundreds of network outage requests, Sub-transmission outages, and Distribution Network outages.

Ensured that all outage requests were compliant with the Ausgrid’s Electrical Safety Rules.▪ Collaborated with the Control Room to eliminate impediments with various Sub-transmission and Distribution outage requests.▪ Administered details and data of all new commissioning works and entered accurate information into the SAP system prior to work commencement.▪ Proofread, edited, and authored engineering staff outage requests relating to various field staff requests.

Owned responsibility to accomplish works required, substation maintenance and construction work within the Sub-transmission and Distribution networks.▪ Handled projects involving cabling transformers, LV protection board installation, wiring works, lighting circuits, MDI metering and CT installation. ▪ Supervised construction works necessary to build new distribution substations and construction works within Sub-transmission substations. ▪ Led maintenance work on Distribution substations and Sub-transmission substations. Coordinated LV board installations, lighting circuits maintenance, MDI metering and CT installation.
