The Richmond Generals operate two Tier III Junior Hockeys team based in Richmond, VA that recruit elite 17-20 year old hockey players from around the world to play in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) Premier and Elite divisions.The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), which operates in 17 of the 50 states, is the Nation’s largest amateur ice hockey league. The teams are geographically diverse, ranging from North to South to the Midwest and Pacific. The league is comprised of 170 teams. Overall, the USPHL has had over 300 players advance to the collegiate level; even more advanced to other levels of the game.

Frozen Pond Investments, LLC develops and operates entertainment and sports facilities.Currently the company has two locations in the Richmond, Virginia market. Richmond Ice Zone and SkateNation Plus.SkateNation Plus is Richmond's largest indoor Ice Arena and Entertainment Facility. It is the perfect location for large groups, fun company outings and team building events. Offerings include a 5,000 sq. ft. multi-level laser tag arena, ice skating rink, prize arcade, meeting space with A/V equipment, and full service catering.SkateNation Plus is conveniently located in Downtown Short Pump, right next to Short Pump Town Center Mall.The facility underwent an extensive renovation in 2005 to convert a traditional twin-sheet ice rink into a multi-attraction entertainment center.Richmond Ice Zone is a regulation sized ice arena offering public skating, skating lessons, youth and adult hockey leagues and clinics, figure skating and speed skating.

Elite Hockey, Inc is the not for profit corporation that operates the Richmond Generals Youth Hockey Club. RGYHC is a USA Hockey sanctioned Tier 1 club that fields youth ice hockey teams to play on a national level.
