My primary responsibility is to oversee the operation of the entire I.T. Department and to ensure it aligns with the business objectives of the organization. I am also very involved in the planning, coordinating, directing, and designing all operational activities of the I.T. Department, as well as provide direction and support for I.T. solutions that enhance Waupaca Foundry’s operations. I work closely with senior management to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

• Manage a staff of up to 10 IBM i Application Developers and SAP Configurators responsible for all internal / external business systems and all software development / configuration on the IBM i and in SAP.• Member of our company’s Business Technology Steering Committee used for strategic planning on specific IT projects• Member of the IT Management Staff which addresses departmental issues and administration opportunities and is also used for strategic and tactical planning• Security Officer on the IBM i
