Responsible for the evaluation and selection of existing advanced storage technologies, and the productization of new advancements.

Key member of the senior management team responsible for setting company policy and direction, and establishing necassary milestones to measure success. Also a member of the technical steering committee responsible for reviewing technical progress, approving requests for new development, and resolving technical issues throughout the company. Have sole final product release approval. Daily responsibilities include the management of the engineering and development, program mangement, and electrical test groups with indirect responsibility for Marketing. for the creation and execution of product plans to develop "next-generation" lead-acid batteries that are based on new and novel technology, as well as all engineering development within the company. Also responsible for developing and implementing key company processes required for proper engineering documentation and tracking. Additional responsibilities include the management of three cross functional departments.

* Responsible for Engineering, Product Development, Research and Development, and Document Control for a 23 person department, with eight direct reports. * Additional responsibilities include setting and managing capital and operating budgets totaling $2.5 million, product regulatory compliance, resolution/approval of quality issues, intellectual property review, and implementation of cellular manufacturing practices . * Heavily involved in market research, product pricing, and development of new product launch packages. * Acted as liaison between marketing, sales, manufacturing, and customers in order to ensure customer expectations are met.
